This little beauty is back in the rotation now , she really is very pretty..
i have it on good authority that she will have some sisters soon….

French Filigree (HAED) stitched 1x1 on 35 ct linen using hdf silks in black and a mystery pink

i froggedas much as i stitched which was a pain , as all the outlines would have been filled in with pink otherwise

At the moment i have 3 things calling me to stitch starting Puggle… but i forgot to order floss bags until yesterday and if i start with out organising my silks it will be a nightmare i suspect..
Sirin Jaidee which was sent to me by a lovely fairy friend , i have the black linen and chart, but not the silks, so that is out
Carley Cat … which i suspect is what i will sttich, i did stitch odds and ends yesterday , but not enough to warrant a pic.
I am so glad Carley is an easy stitch ( as puggle will be as well) .. i doubt i could look at lady in the meadow if i was still stitching her.. i am totally incapable of concentrating on my stitching, hence my CC model languishing as it has lots of wonderful fine detail .. poor kerry she must think i will never get my mojo back

which is why yesterday i pottered around on odds and ends and redid my wishlist ( cos jan told me too lol)

Firstly Carley Cat…
I am finding near n impossible to get good pics of Silk pieces, the light off the silk which i love IRL as it gives that luscious shimmer/sheen is a nightmare with pictures, Carley Cat looks so different  IRL…
She is stitched 1×1 on 28 ct using Angel Wings Jobelan from Stitches and Spice ( i really want some 32 ct of this lovley fabric now)

Next is my latest norty new start…
apparently the only way i can stop myself from new starts is to have a sampler model ( no chance of that for a while i suspect) asthe last two times serenity would have been in my rotation i have had a new sampler start and there are two more planned at least ..!!

anyway if you have a collection of bits and pieces of thread can i 100% reccomend this amazing chart by
Tams Creations Odds And Ends 2 , it is addictive stitching, I had to force myself to stop , literally tell myself off lol

aain the colour is not accurate the fab should be pale green for starters… Girls who have been watching HDF recently you will see splashes of the amazing new fugue Blue series ( top right hand side with the sue purples and lemon drops etc ) it is stitched 1×1 on 35 ct Kail linen from HDF using assorted silk scraps both current and discontinued colours

I will have pics of Carley and my accidental new start later this week , as well as a better pic of serenity, paul was too caught up in cricket last night to do photography stuff…
yes i know another new start and there is yet another one to come…
Through some miracle i managed to track down a copy of the much sort after OOP chart from Sampler Cove of the Quaker Huswife  that is the only pic i can find of it .. i got it from somewhere else though
I am going to scare people with my colour choices.. i can’t start it yet though as the silks and fab  still need to come ( both obtained through selling silks), i have often talked about a feral quaker.. lol

I love so many things from Nashville, not sure where to start… except The Cats whiskers released even more that i loved , including Fruits of the Harvest  

I also love this piece form Prairie Moon called The Red and The Black

Hi everyone…

i am still around, just not very chatty, as anyone waiting for emails can atest to!!

I have given up waiting for Paul to bring hom the camera so these are all scans, none of which are really true to colour except probably The Serenity Sampler and Butterfly Dream Fae is closeish, the Rainbow Band Sampler is nothing close in my opinion it is a lot clearer and intense IRL

First up i completed my Serenity Sampler

Designed By Martina Dey sttiched 1×1 on 35 ct using the Hdf conversion of the original DMC colours

I love how it turned out , but there are a few issues around it in relation to the model stitching side of things so i am fairly flat about it atm…

Next up is my Rainbow Band Sampler ( see link in previous post for picture etc)

this is only half of each of the six bands
i wanted to makesure i was headed in the right direction with colours
band one is the frayed denim combo from the spools forum
band two is an isle green
band three is a tarts knickers
band four is one of the goldrushes
band five is a mystery nosegay combo
band six is Hibiscus..

anyone who has hibiscus will know how the colours are off as the hibiscus is a lot pinker than this

a few random musings..

If the previews i have seen for nashville are anything to go by i am going to have a massive stash increase this year… not as massive as i would like with the AUD floating around 63 Cents against the USD , but still an increase .. lol
so far Sampler Cove, Needlemania, The Cats Whiskers and a new designer ( whom i know ) Nicole Dorset are the designing highlights for me , especially Sampler Cove , Diane has out done herself

And it is wonderful to see two new charts on Kerry’s Character Creations Website, and such lovely charts too, i especially love the dragon, what a cutie he is… ( her link is on my sidebar)
